Healthcare Services Group, Inc. is launching a 16-week Dining Services Manager in Training program in Bloomington, IN to learn to manage dining operations in a healthcare setting.

The program combines hands-on duties with computer-based training, aimed at building leadership and compliance with health and sanitation standards. You will participate in staff development, scheduling, and inventory planning while delivering excellent resident and customer service.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous dining services or hospitality experience preferred.
• Strong organizational and communication skills required.
• Certifications during program: FPM, FSM, LTC-FSM, CDM, CFPP where required by state regulations.
• Valid driver’s license is required.
• Residency within the service area is required.
• COVID-19 vaccination policies must be complied with.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform tasks for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Assist in managing dining services operations, including meal preparation, service, and quality control.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and sanitation standards.
• Participate in staff training, development, and scheduling.
• Assist with inventory management and ordering of supplies.
• Interact positively with residents, staff, and guests, providing excellent customer service.
• All other duties as assigned.

• Must obtain Food Protection Manager (FPM), Food Service Manager (FSM), Long-Term Care Food Service (LTC-FSM), and CDM,CFPP (where required by state regulations) certifications during the development program.

• Maintain a positive attitude and effectively communicate with building occupants, administration, and HCSG leadership to perform daily tasks.
