Job summary

Healthcare Services Group (HCSG) invites you to join our Dining Services Manager in Training program in Greenwood, IN. This 16-week, paid program will teach you to manage and oversee dining services in a healthcare setting with hands-on and computer-based training.

You will gain experience in operations, health and safety compliance, staff scheduling, inventory, and delivering exceptional resident and guest service, with opportunities for career growth within HCSG.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Experience in dining services or hospitality preferred.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Must obtain FPM, FSM, LTC-FSM, and CDM,CFPP certifications as required by state regulations.
• Valid driver's license.
• Residency within the service area required.

Responsibilities

• Assist in managing dining services operations.
• Learn to ensure compliance with health, safety, and sanitation standards.
• Participate in staff training, development, and scheduling.
• Assist with inventory management and ordering of supplies.
• Interact positively with residents, staff, and guests, providing excellent customer service.
• All other duties as assigned.

• Assist in managing dining services operations, including meal preparation, service, and quality control.
• Learn to ensure compliance with health, safety, and sanitation standards.
• Participate in staff training, development, and scheduling.
• Assist with inventory management and ordering of supplies.Interact positively with residents, staff, and guests, providing excellent customer service.
• All other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous experience in dining services or hospitality preferred.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Must obtain Food Protection Manager (FPM), Food Service Manager (FSM), Long-Term Care Food Service (LTC-FSM), and CDM,CFPP ( where required by state regulations ) certifications during the development program.
• Valid driver's license.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Maintain a positive attitude and effectively communicate with building occupants, administration, and HCSG leadership to perform daily tasks.
• Compliance with COVID-19 vaccination policies.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform tasks for extended periods.
• Residency within the service area required.
