Job summary

Avante at Inverness is seeking a Dining Services Manager to plan, organize and direct the Dining Services Department in accordance with Federal, State and Local regulations and standards governing the Facility and as directed by the Administrator, to ensure quality nutritional services daily and a clean, sanitary dining environment.

The role offers daily pay, a collaborative work environment, and opportunities for advancement including tuition reimbursement and health benefits.

Qualifications

• Certified Dietary Manager in good standing or in training to become CDM.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Read, write and follow oral and written directions.
• Must speak and understand English.
• 2 years of supervisory experience.
• Positive attitude toward the elderly.
• Computer literacy including Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Assist in planning, organization and directing the Dining Services operation.
• Ensure compliance with Federal, State and Local regulations and facility standards.

Qualifications:

• Must be a Certified Dietary Manager (CDM) in good standing with all applicable Federal and State mandated requirements or in training to satisfactorily complete the requirements to become a CDM
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Must be able to read, write and follow oral and written direction.
• Must speak and understand English.
• 2 years’ experience in supervisory capacity.
• Positive attitude toward the elderly.
• Computer literacy to include Microsoft Office Programs.

Education and Experience:

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Certified Dietary Manager
• ServSafe Certified (or the ability to become Certified within 90 days of employment)
• Minimum 2 years Supervisor role within a Food Service environment
