Job summary

Americare Senior Living in Covington, TN is seeking a Dining Service Coordinator to supervise dietary staff and manage daily meal service in a nursing facility. This full-time role focuses on healthy, appealing meals and strict adherence to state and federal guidelines.

You will collaborate with the nursing and dietary teams to deliver person-centered care, supervise operations, and ensure compliant service with residents’ dietary needs.

Qualifications

• High school education and continuing education related to dietary department
• Ability to work as part of an interdisciplinary team to provide a home-like environment and nutritious meals
• Adherence to HIPAA/OSHA regulations and safety guidelines
• Familiar with lock out/tag out procedures and PPE usage
• Experience in meal planning, budgeting, and dietary operations including resident admission/discharge
• Preference for experience in quantity food production

Responsibilities

• Supervise and assist in preparing and serving meals in the nursing home setting
• Ensure the correct diet is provided to residents and maintain a sanitary dietary area
• Plan, organize, and schedule dietary work; train and evaluate staff
• Coordinate dietary services with nursing to provide person-centered care
• Maintain budgeting and inventory for the dietary department and ensure compliance with regulations
