Job summary

Healthcare Services Group is hiring a Dietary Manager / Food Service Director to lead the dining services at a long-term care facility. You will ensure high-quality meals, supervise staff, manage inventory and uphold safety standards in alignment with client preferences and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or higher in food service management or hospitality coursework preferred.
• CDM certification preferred (or required by state/county law).
• Must obtain Food Protection Manager (FPM) within the first 14 days and FSM/LTC-FSM within 60 days.

Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee the food service program at a single site, ensuring high food quality, inventory control, food safety and customer service.
• Maintain records of income, expenditures, food supplies, personnel and equipment; utilize HCSG software.
• Train staff, conduct quality control, and perform roles as dietary aide, cook, and dishwasher when needed.
• Communicate directives from clients, occupants and administrators to HCSG staff.
• Ensure sanitary operations following infection control and handwashing procedures; address equipment needs promptly.
• Uphold attendance and punctuality; represent HCSG positively in interactions with stakeholders.
• All other duties as assigned.
