Job summary

Healthcare Services Group, Inc. is hiring a Food Service Director to lead the dining department at a long-term care facility. You will oversee food quality, safety, inventory, and customer service while ensuring compliance with menus and local regulations.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree or higher in food service management or hospitality preferred.
• Two years of experience in quantity food production/service and supervision preferred.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Must obtain Food Protection Manager within 14 days of employment.
• Must obtain FSM and LTC-FSM within 60 days of employment.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support the food service team to meet quality and safety standards.
• Maintain records of income, expenditures, food supplies, personnel, and equipment using HCSG software.
• Conduct staff training, quality control, and in-service sessions.
• Communicate directives from client managers and administrators to staff.
• Maintain sanitary environment following infection control and handwashing procedures.
• Represent HCSG positively through interactions with supervisors, co-workers, residents and guests.
• All other duties as assigned.
