Job summary

Sunrise Senior Living is seeking a Dining Services Director in Westlake Village to provide strategic leadership for all dining and hospitality operations within the community. You will oversee kitchen and dining teams, ensure culinary quality, and maintain HACCP/OSHA compliance while guiding budgets and vendor relationships.

You will engage residents for feedback, participate in Resident Council activities, and support events and local marketing efforts.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Food Service Management, Culinary Arts, or related field is required.
• 4–5 years supervisory hospitality or fine dining experience.
• 5+ years volume cooking experience or equivalent leadership experience.
• Current ServSafe certification required.
• Experience managing food and labor budgets.
• Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
• Flexibility to work evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage all dining operations, including kitchen and front‑of‑house teams.
• Ensure high‑quality food preparation aligned with Sunrise culinary standards.
• Oversee dietary modifications and regulatory compliance (HACCP, OSHA).
