Job summary

Landis Homes in California is seeking a Dining Services Assistant (Part-Time) to support food service operations, meal prep, and resident dining during morning shifts. You will work 6 a.m.–2:30 p.m.

or 6:30 a.m.–3 p.m., 2–3 weekdays, with every other weekend and holiday off. Benefits available from day one include medical, dental, vision, life insurance, and vacation accrual plus access to wellness facilities.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 16 years of age.
• Excellent customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Performs basic food production and meal preparation tasks as assigned.
• Operates food preparation, cleaning, and delivery equipment safely.
• Follows established style and order of service while serving in dining rooms and at special functions.
• Delivers resident orders and diet-specific meals or room trays.
• Demonstrates safe food handling techniques and promotes sanitary and safe environment.
• Works with other team members in performing household functions.
• Responds to resident call bells and supports residents within scope of practice.
