Job summary

Holden Rehabilitation and Skilled Nursing Center in Holden, MA is seeking a reliable Dietary Aide to support dining services for residents. This 14-hour/week role includes weeknights and alternating weekend shifts, focusing on tray assembly, meal service, and sanitation to ensure a clean and pleasant dining experience for residents.

Responsibilities include serving meals, delivering carts, stocking supplies, washing dishes, and assisting the Cook as needed.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Assist with tray assembly and deliver meal carts to nursing units and dining areas.
• Serve meals and beverages to residents in the dining room.
• Assemble and deliver floor stock and supplies.
• Properly dispose of waste and refuse.
• Perform scheduled cleaning and sanitation duties.
• Wash, sanitize, and properly store dishes, utensils, cookware, and kitchen equipment.
• Operate the dishwasher and dishwashing equipment according to established sanitation standards.
• Ensure dishes, silverware, glasses, pots, and pans are thoroughly cleaned and sanitized.
• Prepare toast and other simple food items as directed by the Cook.
• Attend required in-service training and department meetings.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization throughout the dietary department.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

Description

At Holden Rehabilitation, providing an exceptional dining experience for our residents is a top priority. We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Dietary Aide who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is committed to delivering excellent service and support to our residents. This position is 14 hours per week. Weeknights 3:30pm-7:00pm and every other weekend 6:30am-2:30pm.

Pay Range (Based on Experience): $16.00 - $19.12 per hour
