Job summary

Dickinson College is seeking a dining services worker to join the on-campus team. You will perform odd jobs, pot sink duties, janitorial tasks and serving duties to keep the dining halls clean and welcoming for students, faculty and staff.

This role rewards reliability, teamwork and physical stamina. You must be at least 16 years old, able to lift up to 50 pounds, stand for long periods, bend, kneel and follow safety guidelines.

Qualifications

• Must be 16 years old.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Food handling experience or knowledge is preferred.
• Prolonged standing or walking.
• Bending or kneeling may be required.

Responsibilities

• Take out trash, recyclables or boxes as needed.
• Assist in cleaning pots, sinks, and kitchen areas.
• Sweep, mop, and maintain floors in dining areas.
• Stock serving lines and help in prep areas.
• Follow Supervisor on Duty tasks and safety rules.
