Job summary

Dickinson College is seeking student-friendly staff to work in Dining Services, Dining Hall. The role involves fast-paced service, maintaining cleanliness, and assisting in food preparation and serving for students, faculty and staff.

Training will be provided, and you will work under the supervision of the Dining Hall Supervisor. This position is ideal for individuals who enjoy teamwork and providing quality service in a campus dining environment.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 16 years old.
• Able to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Prolonged standing or walking.
• Food handling knowledge is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Take out trash, recyclables or boxes as needed and assist cleaning of kitchen and dining areas.
• Wash pots, pans and utensils; maintain cleanliness of the pot sink and related shelving and walls.
• Perform janitorial duties including cleaning bathrooms, sweeping, mopping, and maintaining dining halls and offices.
• Assist in stocking and serving food on serving lines; help with grill service and basic food preparation as needed.
