Job summary

Hickory Senior Living Management, LLC in Daphne, AL seeks a Dining Assistant to support dining services for residents. You will wash dishes, serve meals, follow recipes, take orders, explain menus, and assist with dining area setup and post-meal cleaning.

Shifts run 6:00am-2:30pm or 11:00am-7:00pm with rotating weekends and holidays. Pay is $11–$13.50 per hour, based on experience; this is an hourly position with no tips or gratuities accepted.

Responsibilities

• Washing dishes and other dietary department duties as needed or assigned by supervisor or Executive Director
• Bringing food and beverages to dine-in customers
• Ability to read and follow recipes
• Taking orders from residents and delivering their food
• Explaining the menu to customers
• Communicating with kitchen staff
• Balancing dishes as they bring them to the appropriate table
• Delivering to-go meals to residents
• Preparing tables and dining area for meals
• Cleaning tables and dining areas after meals, including laundering linen, sweeping, mopping, dusting
• Preparing and maintaining hospitality station
