Job summary

Mariella of Grapevine in Grapevine, TX is seeking a Dining Service Partner to join our team. You will take beverage and meal orders from residents, coordinate with the kitchen, and serve according to our standards while ensuring a hygienic dining experience.

This role requires high school diploma or equivalent, good communication, flexibility, and prior dishwashing/cleaning experience. You must follow health and safety rules, obtain required food handling licenses, and be available for weekend

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Ability to communicate effectively.
• Flexibility, adaptability and a great attitude.
• Prior experience in washing dishes and general cleaning of industrial/restaurant kitchens.
• Obtain/hold any local, state and/or county required food handling/sanitation licenses and/or certificates.
• Must possess a valid First Aid Certification and be available for on-call emergency situations and weekend coverage on a rotating basis.
• Ability to understand and follow directions.
• Ability to understand and meet standards for health, safety, and excellence.

Responsibilities

• Take beverage and meal orders from residents, coordinate with the kitchen and serve according to standards.
• Address any issues or concerns.
• Maintain all safety and sanitation rules and regulations.
• Clean floors, empty trash cans, stock food supplies, wash and sanitize dishes, and clean all other parts of the work area and equipment as needed.
• Perform general cleaning of dietary department, including vents, ovens, vent hoods over ovens, and outside garbage area.
• Organize stock and make deliveries, as needed.
