Job summary

Twenty20 Management is seeking a Dining Server in Blacksburg, VA to provide excellent customer service to residents, families, and guests. You will manage meal orders, table service, and dining room presentation in a welcoming, professional setting.

The role emphasizes high standards of service, adherence to health and safety regulations, and collaboration with the Culinary Manager and other departments to ensure a positive dining experience for residents and guests.

Responsibilities

• Greet residents and guests courteously and assist with seating.
• Take and deliver meal orders promptly and accurately.
• Maintain cleanliness, organization, and presentation of the dining room.
• Assist with setup and service of special events.
• Monitor resident satisfaction and communicate feedback to the Culinary Manager.
• Support infection control and sanitation practices.
• Any other tasks or duties assigned by your manager, and support for other departments as needed.

Description

The Dining Server is responsible for providing excellent customer service and ensuring residents, families, and guests enjoy a welcoming and professional dining experience. This role manages meal orders, table service, and dining room presentation . The Server contributes to Twenty20 Management’s mission to improve the lives of our customers, uphold commitments to staff and residents, and foster a rewarding and enjoyable workplace.

Summary

RESPONSIBILITIES – Included but not limited to:

• Greet residents and guests courteously and assist with seating.
• Take and deliver meal orders promptly and accurately.

• Depending on experience and performance standing – may be assigned job lead duties and act as support for peers as needed and may rotate duties with other leads

Ability to prepare for & tolerate exposure to outdoor elements as duties may require

REGULATORY COMPLIANCE :

Comply with all federal, state, and local laws, regulations, and licensing requirements for senior living services (independent living, assisted living, skilled nursing, memory care).

Honor resident rights and follow all established protocols for care, safety, and service delivery.

Maintain required education, certifications , and credentials.

Participate in audits, inspections, and quality assurance initiatives.

Promptly report any incidents or compliance concerns to the appropriate supervisor .
