Job summary

Community First Solutions in Kentucky is seeking a Dining Room Supervisor to manage dining room operations, oversee catering events, and ensure an exceptional resident dining experience. The role emphasizes hospitality, teamwork, and adherence to health standards, with emphasis on training front-of-house staff and coordinating with culinary leadership.

The position is full-time, primarily evening (PM) shifts, with weekend availability required.

Qualifications

• At least two years of hospitality experience.
• High School Diploma or GED.
• Food Handlers card or ServSafe certification.
• Fluent in English.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills.
• 18 years of age or older.

Responsibilities

• Oversees operations of the dining room, catering events and other dining settings to include inspecting side wok and closing the dining rooms.
• Responsible to train all Front of the House employees.
• Responsible for ensuring that patrons have a pleasurable dining experience.
• Resolves customer complaints, monitor service times and manage table availability.
• Assists behind the scenes to make sure food and beverage service runs smoothly.
• Assists the Director of Culinary with scheduling shifts of front of the house staff.
• Assists with supply inventory, ordering, stocking, etc.
• Assists with serving staff during meal time, including tray delivery when needed.
• Ensure dining team is compliant with health and safety procedures.
• Abides by the company Always Behaviors each and every day as we serve our clients, colleagues, and community.
• All other duties as assigned and/or appropriate to the position.

Overview

This is an important hospitality role in making our residents feel valued. You’ll play a vital role in fostering dignity, independence, and belonging for those we serve.

Schedules

Full Time, primarily PM shift, must have weekend availbility.

Pay

Starting at $18.00/hour, based on professional experience.
