Job summary

The Seagate Hotel, Golf & Beach Club, Autograph Collection in Florida seeks a Server Assistant to support the dining room team. You will oversee table maintenance, assist servers, clear tables, reset stations, and help ensure smooth service and guest satisfaction.

You will participate in pre-shift briefings, answer guest questions about menu and beverages, keep work areas clean, stock stations, and uphold luxury-service standards in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.

Responsibilities

• Understand and perform duties per restaurant service and wine/food manuals.
• Perform side work for assigned station.
• Participate in pre-shift meetings and learn new menu items.
• Welcome guests and ensure responsive, professional service at all times.
• Answer questions about the menu, wine list or other inquiries.
• Liaise with server to communicate guest wants and needs.
• Bus tables.
• Set tables.
• Stock stations.
• Perform bread service.
• Serve and refill water.
• Prepare and serve coffee and tea.
• Maintain the cleanliness of the dining room.
• Stock and organize linen.
• Polish china, glass and silverware.
• Maintain a clean, safe environment in the dining room and service stations.
• Comply with health, safety, and labor regulations.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
