Job summary

Bethesda Senior Living Communities seeks a Dining Room Server for the 11am–7pm shift to provide high-quality meal service to residents, families and guests. You will work with Culinary Services and Executive leadership to ensure timely service and well‑maintained dining areas.

Position requires a high school diploma or equivalent, experience in food production and service, sanitation, and safety; supervisory experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Interpersonal skills to communicate with residents and staff.
• Must show compassion and genuinely care for the elderly.
• Experience in food production, service, sanitation and safety is preferred.
• Supervisory experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Oversees meal service to residents, families and guests, ensuring quality service.
• Assign sections and tables to Health Services staff and supervise service.
• Maintain dining room and tables in restaurant style, and reset as needed.
• Take and relay orders, ensure drinks are filled and served promptly.
• Manage guest reservations and prepare Private Dining Room for events.
• Maintain confidentiality and professional appearance at all times.
