Metropolitan at The 9 | Autograph Collection in Streetsboro, OH seeks a friendly server to greet guests, take food and beverage orders, and ensure a smooth dining room experience in both main and private dining areas.

Responsibilities include maintaining clean stations, handling currency transactions accurately, upselling menu items and beverages, and coordinating with kitchen and service staff to support efficient service.

Qualifications

• Greets and serves customers in a professional and timely manner.
• Records currency transactions accurately on computer and tenders proper change.
• Processes charge transaction through charge transmittal machine and prints, reviews, and submits a daily server report to the manager.

Responsibilities

• Greets and serves customers in a professional and timely manner.
• Completes all assigned opening and closing side work to prepare dining room, kitchen, and service stations for efficient operation during meal period.
• Prepares non-alcoholic and other beverages for guests.
• Prepares all condiments to garnish drink orders.
• Takes food orders and enters them into computer.
• Applies knowledge of the full menu, daily specials, non-alcoholic and alcoholic beverages, and other restaurant information such as restaurant hours, types of payment, hotel/other outlets marketing, and upselling.
• Checks and maintains stock of glassware, china, and flatware and communicates shortages to appropriate person.
• Maintains a clean server station at all times by wiping chairs, table bases, table top, carpet, and details the table with appropriate settings.
• Assists with answering the telephone and taking messages to give to the proper personnel when time allows.
• Records currency transactions accurately on computer and tenders proper change.
• Processes charge transaction through charge transmittal machine and prints, reviews, and submits a daily server report to the manager.
