Job summary

Carillon Senior Living in Lubbock, TX is seeking an experienced Dining Room Server to join our Health Center team. The role involves table service in community dining rooms, assisting the Dining Room Manager, and ensuring courteous, efficient service to residents and guests.

Must have empathy for the elderly, strong communication skills, and the ability to interpret the menu. A high school diploma is preferred; training is provided for those with limited experience.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Three months of prior dining service experience preferred; training provided.
• Must maintain resident confidentiality and demonstrate strong verbal and written communication.

Responsibilities

• Sets tables and maintains workstations in proper order.
• Takes orders and provides courteous service to residents and guests.
• Clears dishes during and after meals and assists with dishwashing if needed.
• Answers questions about menu items and coordinates meal service.
• Maintains high levels of resident satisfaction and supports the Dining Room Manager.
