MorningStar Senior Living is seeking a part-time Dining Room Server/Dishwasher in Colorado Springs. The role focuses on delivering high-quality meal service and maintaining a gracious environment for residents.

Key duties include accurate order taking, relaying orders to the back of the house, and providing exceptional resident service while observing dietary needs and cleanliness standards.

Dining Room Server/Dishwasher

Part-time

Range of Pay: $17.00 - $17.50

Schedule: Thursday 10:30am-7:00pm, Sunday & Monday 10:30am-7:00pm

JOB SUMMARY

Provide service of high-quality meals and facilitation of a gracious environment. This entails; accurate communication and order taking, properly relaying meal orders to back of the house staff. Offer exceptional customer service, as part of all interactions with our cherished residents.

POSITIONOVERVIEW

• Be present in dining room for full meal service.
• Assist special functions as scheduled.
• Maintain high cleanliness, hygiene, and a sanitary and infection free environment at all times.
• Oversight of bistro areas as directed – food presentation, cleanliness, stock supplies, beverages, make popcorn, etc.
• Know the specials of the day and how they are prepared and presented.
• Learn individual resident names, dietary needs, requests, likes and dislikes.
• Must serve hot food hot and cold food cold.
• As directed, participate in the Quality Assurance Committee.
• Sanitize tables and chairs, reset tables, and vacuum floor after each meal.
• Attend all trainings, orientation, and mandatory meetings.
• Demonstration of our Core Values: Love, Kindness, Honesty, Goodness, Fairness, Respect.
• Experience: Previous experience in the dietary department of a health care facility or restaurant preferred but not required.
• Job Knowledge: Ability to read, write, speak and understand English.
• Standards: Knowledge of and ability to meet regulations of ADA, state, infection and control, health department, and OSHA.
