Job summary

Belmont Village Senior Living is seeking Full and Part Time Servers to join our on-site dining team. Full time schedules include 6:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m. and 11:00 a.m.

- 7:00 p.m., days vary with weekend availability required; part-time 4pm - 7pm, days varied. A steady schedule and collaborative culture in our Assisted Living community await dedicated servers. As a Dining Room Server, you will provide hands-on table service, support at special events, and help maintain a welcoming dining

Qualifications

• Must be at least 16 years of age.
• Clear verbal and written English communication.
• Ability to work evenings, weekends and holidays.
• Experience in dining service preferred.
• Reliable attendance essential.

Responsibilities

• Provide attentive and personalized dining service to assigned tables.
• Take accurate orders and deliver food and beverages in a timely and professional manner.
• Ensure orders are served at the correct temperature, with proper presentation and accuracy.
• Prepare and set up the dining room for service, ensuring flatware, condiments and beverages are always ready.
• Assist with meal service at special events and celebrations held within the Belmont Village community.
• Maintain cleanliness of Dining Room and assigned tables ensuring guest needs are met throughout each meal.

About The Role

As a Dining Room Server at Belmont Village Senior Living, you will play an active role in ensuring a welcoming atmosphere and an exceptional dining experience throughout each meal and special event.

Working collaboratively with a team, you will provide hands-on table service and assist with special event service in our Assisted Living community.

Your Typical Responsibilities

• Provide attentive and personalized dining service to a group of assigned tables in our on-site restaurant, ensuring a positive dining experience
• Take accurate orders, offer menu recommendations, and deliver food and beverages in a timely and professional manner
• Ensure orders are served at the correct temperature, with proper presentation and accuracy
• Prepare and set up the dining room for service, ensuring flatware, condiments and beverages are always ready
• Assist with meal service at special events and celebrations held within the Belmont Village community
• Maintain cleanliness of Dining Room and assigned tables ensuring guest needs are met throughout each meal

Minimum Qualifications

• Must be at least 16 years of age
• Must be able to communicate clearly in verbal and written English
• Must be able to work evenings, weekends and holidays as needed
• Must be able to efficiently multi-task, be an active listener, and collaborate effectively with team members
• Demonstrates a willingness to learn and work in a hands-on, hospitality oriented position
• Knowledge of dining etiquette and prior Restaurant Server experience is preferred
• Consistent and reliable attendance is essential for all Belmont Village employees to ensure the successful operation of the community
