Job summary

Belmont Village Senior Living is seeking a Dining Room Server to deliver attentive and personalized dining service in our on-site restaurant within the Assisted Living community.

You will work with the Dining Room Coordinator and fellow servers to ensure timely service, proper presentation, and a welcoming atmosphere during meals and events. The role emphasizes hospitality, teamwork, and helping seniors thrive through exceptional service.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 16 years of age.
• Clear verbal and written English communication.
• Able to work evenings, weekends and holidays as needed.
• Ability to multi-task and collaborate effectively with team members.
• Willingness to learn in a hands-on hospitality role.

Responsibilities

• Provide attentive dining service to assigned tables in on-site restaurant.
• Take orders, offer menu recommendations, and deliver food and beverages promptly.
• Ensure correct temperatures and proper presentation of meals.
• Prepare and set up dining room for service.
• Assist with meal service at special events and celebrations.
• Maintain cleanliness of dining room and tables throughout service.

$13.50/hour - flat rate(no tips)

Full-Time - 6:00am-2:00pm

Part-Time - 4:00-8:00pm

ABOUT THE ROLE

As a Dining Room Server at Belmont Village Senior Living, you will play an active role in ensuring a welcoming atmosphere and an exceptional dining experience throughout each meal and special event. Working collaboratively with our Dining Room Coordinator and other Dining Room Servers, you will provide hands-on table service and assist with special event meal service in our Assisted Living community. The ideal candidate is reliable, takes pride in their work, and demonstrates empathy. They excel in a fast-paced, physically active position, collaborate effectively, and embrace a growth mindset, prioritizing exceptional hospitality and helping seniors to thrive as they age.

YOUR TYPICAL RESPONSIBILITIES

• Provide attentive and personalized dining service to a group of assigned tables in our on-site restaurant, ensuring a positive dining experience


• Take accurate orders, offer menu recommendations, and deliver food and beverages in a timely and professional manner


• Ensure orders are served at the correct temperature, with proper presentation and accuracy


• Prepare and set up the dining room for service, ensuring flatware, condiments and beverages are always ready


• Assist with meal service at special events and celebrations held within the Belmont Village community


• Maintain cleanliness of Dining Room and assigned tables ensuring guest needs are met throughout each meal

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

• Must be at least 16 years of age


• Must be able to communicate clearly in verbal and written English


• Must be able to work evenings, weekends and holidays as needed


• Must be able to efficiently multi-task, be an active listener, and collaborate effectively with team members


• Demonstrates a willingness to learn and work in a hands-on, hospitality oriented position


• Knowledge of dining etiquette and prior Restaurant Server experience is preferred


• Consistent and reliable attendance is essential for all Belmont Village employees to ensure the successful operation of the community
