Job summary

Meridian Senior Living is seeking a Dining Room Manager in Orlando to oversee dining room operations, staffing, accountability, and sanitation in line with health department regulations. You will help maintain a positive environment for residents and supervise dining services staff with independent judgment.

The position requires compassion for the elderly and strong communication with residents, families, staff and the public.

Qualifications

Must have compassion for and desire to work with the elderly.
Must be able to communicate effectively with residents, families, staff and the general public.
Must be formally trained in food service management or the culinary arts or have equivalent experience.
Must be able to supervise dining services department employees using independent judgment and discretion.

Responsibilities

Actively manage the operations of the dining room, including staffing, accountability, and sanitation in accordance with health department regulations.
Assist in maintaining a positive physical and social environment for residents.
