Job summary

Starling at Ponte Vedra is seeking a dining room supervisor to guide our culinary team and ensure smooth restaurant operations in a client-focused setting. You will motivate staff to deliver outstanding service and act as the liaison between the kitchen and dining area.

The ideal candidate has at least 1 year of management experience and 2 years in hospitality, with strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Excellent communication skills.
• Good interpersonal skills and abilities.
• Become the liaison between the kitchen and the front of the house.
• Assist withrecruiting,training and development programs for all staff.
• Monitor employee dress code.
• Perform Dining Room opening and closing duties, and ensure all servers are trained to perform.
• Attend management and staff meetings.
• Interact withResidents byanswering questions, solving problems, overseeing services, taking reservations andintroducing him or herself to prospective Residentson tours.
• Undertake special projects as requested.
• Respond efficiently and accurately toResidentcomplaints.
• Organize and superviseFront of the House team membershifts.
• Appraise staff performance and provide feedback to improve productivity.
• Adhere to local regulations concerning health, safety, or other compliance requirements, as well as brand standards and local policies and procedures.

Skills

• Proven work experience as a lead server or similar role in high volume atmosphere for a minimum of 2 years.
• Proven customer servicetrainingexperience.

Experience
