Job summary

Chick-fil-A Gilroy - 10th is seeking a Dining Room Host to warmly welcome dine-in guests and support front-of-house operations. This full-time/part-time role starts at $20.00 per hour and promises a team-focused, customer-centric environment in a fast-paced setting.

Responsibilities include maintaining clean dining areas, serving drinks and desserts, and ensuring guests receive accurate orders while receiving hospitality. Flexible scheduling and Sundays off are part of the benefits offered.

Starting at $20/hr, the Dining Room Host Team Member is responsible for all duties pertaining to the restaurant's dining room and front of house operations.

Job Duties Include, But Are Not Limited To

• Welcoming and assisting our dine-in guests as they enter the restaurant.
• Cleans and maintains various areas of the restaurant, including tables, counters, floors, trash bins, and restrooms
• Providing hospitality to all guests
• Ensures orders are complete and delivers orders to guests
• Preparing drinks and desserts

Requirements

• Must be at 18 years of age or older
• Must have a positive attitude, be coachable, a team player, and a willingness to learn & improve
• Must have reliable mode of transportation to and from work
• Must have Friday and Saturday availability at a minimum
• Must be willing and able to work inside and outside of the restaurant as needed
• Must be willing and able to work in an fast-paced environment
• Must be willing and able to work on your feet for the entirety of your shift
• Ability to read, write, and speak standard English sufficient to effectively communicate with guests, coworkers and other business affiliates who speak only English, when necessary for safety reasons or emergency response procedures, when engaged in team-related work efforts or project teams that include individuals who only speak English, for workplace training purposes, and when job performance is being monitored by a supervisor that only speaks English.
