Job summary

Phoenix Country Club in Phoenix, AZ is seeking a friendly Greeter to welcome guests and guide them to seating, ensuring a warm first impression in a fast-paced dining environment.

Responsibilities include greeting guests, escorting to tables, announcing seating, and supporting service staff while maintaining high standards of cleanliness and courtesy. GED or high school diploma is required; prior guest-facing experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Responsibilities

• Greet incoming and departing Guests warmly with a genuine smile and eye contact; escort them to assigned dining area; present menus; announce waiter’s name
• Controls the flow of work in the room by seating guests in station rotation while maintaining guest lists.
• Observant to Guests' needs throughout dining experience to ensure they receive high quality service
• Remains visible on the dining room floor, and is easily accessible to guests, staff and management.
• Checks all tables daily, before service to ensure proper settings.
• Assists with side work and/or assisting service staff with bussing tables, etc.
• Communicates guest requests and concerns to the department manager.
• Incorporates safe work practices in job performance.
• Regular and reliable attendance.
• Performs other duties as required.
