Job summary

Friendship Village is seeking a compassionate, energetic Crew Leader to run meal periods in the absence of dining room management. You will be cross-trained in front-of-house operations in a full-time role with flexible scheduling and benefits, starting at $16.00 per hour and no late nights.

Responsibilities include supervising dining room, café, and employee cafeteria operations; monitoring server performance and resident satisfaction; and clearing dishes during and after service.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Minimum of three (3) years of serving experience required.
• Familiarity with serving alcoholic beverages and responsible alcohol service practices.
• Ability to provide clear, detailed instructions to employees regarding assigned tasks and the proper procedures for completing them.
• Ability to interpret and explain menus, answer questions, coordinate the meal service process, and accurately understand and respond to customer requests.

Responsibilities

• Organizes, directs and supervises all functions in the main dining room, Café and employee cafeteria.
• Monitors server performance and resident satisfaction during serving periods in all areas of responsibility.
• Clears dishes from tables during and after meal service.
