The iconic Hotel del Coronado is looking for a Seasonal Dining Room Attendant to join the team! Join one of the last surviving wooden Victorian beach resorts in the world, which has undergone a $400M renovation and expansion, making it more stunning than ever.

Located on Coronado Island just minutes from Downtown San Diego, this 28-acre property was built in 1888 and features over 750 rooms, cottages, and villas, along with 65,000 square feet of banquet space and 10 food and beverage outlets, including 4 restaurants, 2 bars, a food truck, marketplace, ice cream shop, and in-room dining.

Marking the continued expansion of The Del’s culinary experiences, Nobu Del Coronado will be the newest addition to the renowned Japanese restaurant empire. It will offer over 3,700 square feet of indoor and oceanfront outdoor dining space, including a pagoda bar and sushi bar, featuring Nobu signature dishes like Black Miso Cod and Yellowtail Jalapeño, along with locally inspired dishes and cocktails.

Position Details

• Classification: Full-Time / Seasonal
• Shift: Various – must have availability to work weekends, weekdays, and holidays.
• Pay Rate: $20.62 per hour
• Union Position: This position is part of the Local 30 Union, which requires complete open availability. Schedule restrictions cannot be accommodated, and full-time hours are not guaranteed. Hours and schedule are based on seniority and business needs, and may vary weekly. You must be comfortable with a variable schedule.

Responsibilities

• Clear and reset tables promptly, maintain station cleanliness, serve guests, and assist with food & beverage service to ensure guest satisfaction.
• Transport dirty tableware, ensure all areas are clean, and support the floor team as needed.
• Polish glassware, plateware, and cutlery; assist with serving bread, coffee, and hot tea; support table maintenance throughout service.
• Support the team in maintaining a professional demeanor, resetting tables, and ensuring guest comfort.
