Job summary

Asbury Communities, Inc. is seeking a friendly, dependable server to join our full-time dining services team in Illinois. You will take and deliver food and beverage orders, assist with dining room and catering set ups, and work closely with fellow servers and coordinators to ensure smooth service.

This role emphasizes exceptional customer service, adherence to sanitation standards, and teamwork. Typical hours are 6:00am–2:30pm with every other weekend required, and pay is $17.50 per hour.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of restaurant operations, services, and facilities.
• Prior serving experience of minimum 2 years required.

Responsibilities

• Always works with and supports other servers and coordinators.
• Responsible for taking and delivering food and beverage orders in meal service
• Assists in dining room/catering set up
• Exhibits positive customer service by engaging with residents/customers and becoming familiar with their preferences
• Records and stocks supplies in service areas, as needed
• Practices standards of food sanitation, infection control, and quality assurance
• Trains staff as needed

Schedule & Compensation

• Full-Time Position (80 hours biweekly).
• Hours: 6:00am-2:30pm; every other weekend required
• Pay: $17.50/hour.

Job Description

• Always works with and supports other servers and coordinators.

• Assists in dining room/catering set up

• Consistently completes entry into all log sheets as required i.e. meal counts, dishwasher temperature, etc.
• Records and stocks supplies in service areas, as needed
• Practices standards of food sanitation, infection control, and quality assurance
• Trains staff as needed
