Job summary

Harrington Park Health & Rehab is seeking a Dining and Nutritional Services leader to plan, develop and direct departmental functions on a full-time basis. You’ll supervise staff, ensure compliance with budgets and guidelines, and foster inter-departmental collaboration to deliver high-quality care.

Responsibilities include hiring support, training, licensure compliance, and promoting a positive image of the system through servant leadership and open communication.

Qualifications

• Proficient with MS Office applications and desk tools.
• Excellent organizational and prioritizing skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication abilities.
• Professional, friendly interaction with patients and staff.

Responsibilities

• Assist in planning, developing, organizing and directing Dining and Nutritional Services functions.
• Supervise with fair, uniform corrective actions regardless of background.
• Maintain inter-departmental communication for positive working relationships.
• Adhere to budget restraints and manage supplies/equipment.
• Plan and conduct in-service training as needed.
• Possibly perform duties of other Nutritional Services staff.
• Enforce guidelines and job descriptions within the department.
• Participate in hiring, interviewing, screening, and selection.
• Stay current with licensure standards and survey processes.
• Review functions for compliance with standards and guidelines.
• Promote the System’s image through servant leadership and open communication.
• Contribute to committees, projects and other System initiatives.
