Job summary

Main Event in Humble, TX is seeking Dining Hosts who greet and seat Guests and coordinate with servers and managers to deliver a safe, high-energy dining experience. You’ll communicate across teams to ensure smooth service and a welcoming atmosphere for every Guest.

Qualifications

• Prior food and beverage experience a plus, but not required.
• Guest focused mindset (We heart our Guests!).
• Teamwork is a must (Teamwork makes the dream work!).
• Food Handlers Certification, as required.
• Strong problem solving and multi-tasking skills.
• Can effectively communicate with Management, Team Members, and Guests.
• Attention to detail and comfortable in face-paced environment.
• Availability to work days, nights and/or weekends.

Responsibilities

• Greet and seat Guests and maintain constant communication with servers and managers.
• Perform table management and keep waitlist updated.
• Seat Guests or hand off to another host as needed.
• Communicate with Servers and Guests to ensure a seamless experience.
• Thank Guests for coming and welcome them back.
• Perform opening, mid-day or closing duties.
