Job summary

Case Western Reserve University is seeking a Student UGEN to assist in dining hall operations at Fribley, Leutner, or Carlton. The role involves presenting and serving food, maintaining clean kitchen areas, and assisting with setup and cleanup to support food service standards.

Responsibilities

• Presents and serves food as needed.
• Maintains kitchen work areas and keeps equipment and utensils clean and orderly.
• Help with set up and clean up of work areas, including dishes, food service equipment and utensils.
• Carries pans, kettles and trays of food to and from workstations, stoves and refrigerators in accordance with safety standards.
• Utilizes approved food recipes and production standards to ensure proper quality, serving temperatures and standard portion control.
• Sweeps and mops floors to comply with safety and sanitation standards.
• Removes trash and places it into designated containers.
• Maintains kitchen work areas, equipment, worktables & other food prep surfaces; wash dishes, pans, utensils by hand and/or dish machine.
• Serves students and customers in a friendly, efficient manner following outlined steps of service.
• Relays relevant information to supervisor.
• Ensures compliance with company service standards and with all sanitation and safety standards.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Description
