Princeton University invites applications for a Foodservice Worker at Rocky Mathey College Dining Hall. The role covers cold food prep, front-of-house service, and ware-washing, ensuring safe, clean, and orderly kitchen stations. Provides high-quality customer service aligned with Campus Dining standards.

Schedule is 12:30p-9p on Mon, Tue, Thu, Fri, Sun with Wed/Sat off; full academic-year hours with year-round University benefits. Prior dining experience and HACCP knowledge are preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or at least one year of relevant experience.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively with a diverse population.
• Strong multi-tasking in a fast-paced environment.
• Flexible schedule including weekends and evenings; essential personnel position.
• Compliance with Campus Dining safety and uniform policies.
• Knowledge of food preparation and ability to coordinate tasks to meet production deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Prepares cold food items per established recipes and may assist in salad production.
• Maintains dishroom, kitchen equipment, servery and related areas in a safe, sanitary condition.
• Assists in daily, weekly, and periodic cleaning and maintenance duties.
• Corrects or reports safety or sanitation hazards.
• Performs HACCP-related temperature checks and relates duties as needed.
• Supports production, service, and cleanup of special functions.
• Represents Campus Dining to patrons in a positive, professional manner.
