The Villa at St. Louis Park is seeking a Full Time Director of Dining & Culinary Services to lead the dining program, planning, organizing, and directing staff to deliver high-quality meals for residents in a rehabilitative and long-term geriatric care setting in Minnesota.

The role sits on the site leadership team, focusing on food quality, cost controls, sanitation, and resident satisfaction, with preferred certifications in dietary management and culinary training; prior SNF dining leadership

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of leadership in food service, preferably in Skilled Nursing Facility, retirement or adult home/care settings.
• Strong knowledge of food trends, quality, sanitation, food cost controls, and presentation.
• Excellent customer service skills and experiences.
• Demonstrated competencies in food service management and operations, quality management, staff development, cooking, clinical nutrition for the elderly, and community outreach.
• Must have flexibility, personal integrity, and the ability to work effectively with residents, coworkers, family members, visitors, and the general public.
• Certified Dietary Manager certificate and Culinary training preferred.

Responsibilities

• Plan, organize, develop, evaluating and effectively directing the Dining staff and program to ensure high quality meals and dining services.
• Participate in site leadership planning to achieve short and long-term goals for the dining program.
• Direct dining staff, ensure compliance with regulations and best practices.
• Collaborate with clinical/nutrition for elderly residents and maintain service excellence.
