Job summary

Peregrine Senior Living in New York is seeking a dedicated Dining Director to lead and supervise dining services for residents. You will develop staff, manage budgets, ensure quality meals, and uphold PSL policies while focusing on nutrition, taste, and presentation.

The role requires at least three years in food service and staff management, with a preference for an Associate degree in related fields. The position offers generous benefits and a stable, impactful work environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum of three years of food service and staff management experience.
• Proven track record of delivering high-quality meal service while maintaining cost control.
• Associate degree or higher in Hotel/Restaurant Management, Food Service Administration, or a related field preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supervise, develop, and schedule all dining staff in accordance with PSL policies and standards.
• Assist in the development of the annual Dining Services operating budget.
• Order and maintain adequate food and dining department supplies in accordance with PSL policies and standards.
• Serve as the liaison for all aspects of Dining Services within the community.
• Ensure meals are prepared according to approved menus and standardized recipes, while maintaining high standards for nutrition, quality, taste, and presentation.
• Manage the entire food service program, ensuring cleanliness, quality, resident satisfaction, and compliance with all applicable regulatory requirements.

Dining Director

Dining Director Responsibilities
