Job summary

Grinnell College is seeking Roundsperson staff to support the Marketplace venues under Executive Chef Scott Turley. Full-time employees receive health/dental/vision, life insurance, 403B, and a $2.00/hour shift premium after 6pm on weekdays and on weekends.

The role requires efficient, safety-conscious food prep in a fast-paced environment and collaboration with student employees to deliver high-quality culinary experiences for the Grinnell College community.

Responsibilities

Proficient in food pre-preparation and production
Flexible to work where needed in production to include The Spencer Grill, Pantry, and Presentation cook venues of the Marketplace
Read, understand, prep and prepare foods using standardized Grinnell Dining recipes
Utilize proper culinary techniques when prepping and preparing food items and recipes
Routine maintenance and cleaning of equipment and venue
