Job summary

Omega Senior Living Llc in Nebraska seeks a Cook to prepare meals from the menu plan and assist with service. You will work under supervision to ensure quality and cost control while maintaining clean production and service areas.

Your responsibilities include portioning and serving according to recipes, accommodating resident dietary requests, managing kitchen inventory, and following sanitation and safety procedures.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 1–3 months related experience or training, or equivalent.
• Knowledge of special diets.
• Obtain local/state food handling/sanitation licenses and/or certifications.
• Experience in a commercial kitchen preferred.

CookResponsible for the preparation of meals from the menu plan and assist with meal service. Maintains cleanliness of production and service areas.Essential Duties:Prepares all food according to the menu in a safe, sanitary manner under the direction of the supervisor.
