Job summary

The Harbor & The Haven is seeking a part-time Dining Assistant to provide friendly, resident-centered food service for our assisted living community in Norwood Young America, MN. You will support meal preparation, service, and cleanup while maintaining a safe, clean dining environment.

Hours include 10:00am–1:00pm and 3:30pm–6:30pm. Prioritizing empathy, punctuality, and clear communication with residents and team members is essential for success in this role.

Qualifications

• Sensitivity and aptitude for working with the elderly.
• Strong communication with residents, families, staff and other customers.
• Punctual with good attendance.
• Ability to read, write and comprehend simple English instructions and documentation.

• Assist with food prep, portioning, and plating according to menu and standards.

Job Summary

This position is responsible for providing food service to the residents of The Harbor & The Haven in a positive and friendly manner. Services may include – related services, set-up and clean-up of dining room, food preparation, serving food, and dishwashing.

Available Hours

This position is part-time. Days: 10:00am to 1:00pm, Evenings: 3:30pm - 6:30pm
