Job summary

Webster at Rye is seeking a Full-Time Dining Aide to join our amazing dining team. We are seeking a reliable, motivated, and flexible team member to join our organization. This position requires adaptability, strong communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

The ideal candidate is professional, dependable, and comfortable working independently as well as collaboratively. This position offers flexible days off!

Qualifications

• Must be 17 years of age or older.
• Understands the different threapeutic diets offered.
• Able to interact well with residents.
• Able to check trays with high accuracy and efficiency.
• Willing to cross train within the department.
• Willing to perform routine, repetitive tasks regularly.
• Ability to push, pull, or lift up to 50lb.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for picking up menus from each resident and assisting with forms per diet sheets.
• Tallies menus and prepares tally sheets with accuracy.
• Delivers cart to floor/area and distributes trays to resident tables or rooms.
• Calls diets and checks trays during trayline with accuracy.
• Maintains resident files and records diet changes.
• Reports nutritional concerns to manager on duty.
• Performs various dietary tasks including dining room setup/breakdown, meal delivery, dish washing, and cross training.
• Performs additional duties as assigned by manager on duty.
• Ensures safety in self and work area.
• Attends annual in-service on body mechanics, right-to-know laws, and fire/safety.
• Maintains a professional image to residents and guests.

Webster at Rye is seeking a Full‑Time Dining Aide to complete our amazing dining team! We are seeking a reliable, motivated, and flexible team member to join our organization. This position requires adaptability, strong communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast‑paced environment. The ideal candidate is professional, dependable, and comfortable working independently as well as collaboratively. This position offers flexible days off! Shift time is 1000am-700pm shift (with an hour break).

RESPONIBILITIES

• Responsible for picking up menus from each resident and assisting those who need help in filling them out according to diet breakdown sheets.
• Tallies menus and prepares tally sheets with a high degree of accuracy.
• Delivers cart to prospective floor/area and distributes prepared trays to resident tables or rooms.
• Calls diets and checks trays during trayline with a high degree of accuracy.
• Maintains resident files and records all diet changes.
• Reports any nutritional concerns to manager on duty.
• Performing a variety of dietary tasks including dining room setup/breakdown, meal delivery, dish washing, and cross train in various dining environments including healthcare, casual and restaurant-style service for residents and guests.
• Performs additional duties as assigned by manager on duty.
• Assumes responsibility for self-safety and that of immediate work environment.
• Attending annual in-service on body mechanics, right-to-know laws, and fire and safety procedures.
• Maintains a professional image to all residents and guests.
