Job summary

Precision Castparts is seeking an on-site Lead Inspector to be the daily technical resource for the process and inspection staff, assisting with process control issues and cross training. The role focuses on coaching, coaching feedback, and sustained quality on the shop floor.

Responsibilities include leading root cause analysis, coordinating molding/tool activities, and ensuring documentation and QCM standards are followed to meet throughput goals across shifts.

Qualifications

• Certification in quality systems or ability to certify within 90 days.
• Strong communication and training abilities for shop floor staff.
• Experience performing shop floor presentations and audits.
• Willingness to adjust shifts and interface with multiple teams.

Responsibilities

• Act as first line technical resource for process and inspection staff.
• Provide fact-based input for performance reviews and measurements.
• Train employees on new skills and improve technical performance.
• Lead root cause analysis for variant conditions and ensure tool readiness.
