Job summary

AMC in Camarillo, CA is seeking a Quality Inspector Supervisor to lead two inspectors and coach shop personnel while aligning priorities with production.

You will perform dimensional inspections, apply GD&T on blueprints, maintain NMRs, and support ISO 9001/AS9100 compliance in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years in quality inspection, supervision, machining, or manufacturing
• Expert blueprint reading and interpretation of technical drawings
• Deep fluency in GD&T; hands-on with micrometers, calipers, indicators, gauges, surface plate
• Ability to match features with the correct inspection methods and measurement tools
• Working knowledge of QMS and ISO 9001 and AS9100

Responsibilities

• Lead the daily rhythm of the Quality function, overseeing two Inspectors.
• Provide on-the-spot coaching and development for junior quality personnel and shop teammates.
• Perform dimensional inspections using micrometers, calipers, indicators, gauges, and surface plate methods.
• Interpret drawings/blueprints and apply GD&T for inspection approaches.
• Write and process Nonconformance Reports (NMRs) and support corrective actions.
