Position Summary

The Aftermarket Repair organization (PSD) located in Springdale, AR is looking for a 2nd shift Dimensional Inspector. Shift: Monday - Friday, 3:00 pm – 11:30 pm. The position is responsible for processing and inspecting a variety of engine cases to determine and verify conformance to work specifications using prints, work instructions, layouts, gauges, calipers and other measuring equipment.

Responsibilities

• Perform visual and dimensional inspection as part of receiving, in-process and final inspections.
• Report any discrepancies found during the inspection process.
• Work with engineering specifications, industry standards, repair manuals, and customer requirements.
• Perform work using scribes, verniers, calipers, height gages, depth gages, micrometers and indicators.

Qualifications

• HS diploma (or equivalent, e.g., GED) with a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience.
• Experience working with engineering specifications, industry standards, repair manuals and customer requirements.
• Experience in aerospace or related industry.
