Responsibilities

• Conduct Receiving Inspections (RX) of materials received
• Unload trucks and verify shipments using Purchase Order (PO) and barcode system
• Inspect parts, verify part numbers, serial numbers, and check for damage or defects
• Document findings in inspection records, logs, and rejection reports
• Communicate concerns with suppliers and vendors in writing and verbally
• Coordinate with quality engineers and establish professional rapport with customers and vendors
• Use computer programs such as SAP, Microsoft Outlook, and other Pratt & Whitney network applications
• Obtain RX inspection stamp within 3 months of role commencement

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; bachelor’s degree preferred
• Basic knowledge of inspection methods and visual inspection techniques
• Proficiency with Microsoft applications (Word, Excel, Outlook)
• Excellent analytical, problem‑solving, reading, and writing skills
• Ability to communicate effectively, both written and oral, and to work in a team environment
• Basic math skills and knowledge of vision and color perception requirements
• Occasional lifting up to 25 pounds
• Commitment to supporting business functions such as EH&S, HR, CORE, ITC, and Quality
