Job summary

Dignity Health Sports Park is seeking a Facility Operations Lead to support event setup, teardown, loading dock management, and equipment oversight for the venue and clients. This part-time role provides hands-on leadership of shift crews and collaboration with the Operations team.

Responsibilities include supervising part-time staff during conversions and events, maintaining inventory, reporting damages, and ensuring safety and efficiency across indoor/outdoor settings, with weekend/night

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or its equivalency.
• 0-2 years of related work experience.
• Working knowledge of operations equipment including forklifts, pallet jacks, utility vehicles, staging, trussing, hand tools, power tools.
• Working knowledge of general safety practices.
• Must be able to work nights, weekends, and holidays as event schedule requires.
• Ability to execute and meet deadlines and work as a team.
• Ability to lift 30 lbs unassisted and up to 75 lbs with a team.
• Indoor and outdoor work environments.

Job Summary

The Facility Operations Lead provides support to the operations department for event set-up and tear down, loading dock management, and the management of event-related equipment for the venue and its clients.

Essential Functions

• Effectively leads shift crews by delegating duties, assigning tasks, and following up with team members as directed by the Operations Leadership team


• Leads part-time staff in conversions, set-ups, and event support


• Performs facility operational tasks required in general upkeep of the facility on non-event days


• Reports facility damages to appropriate management teams, staff, and departments.


• Maintains inventory control program under the direction of the Operations Leadership team


• Assists with special projects and events as assigned

Required Qualifications

• High School Diploma or its equivalency


• 0-2 years o f related work experience


• Working knowledge of operations equipment including: forklifts, pallet jacks, utility vehicles, staging, trussing, hand tools, power tools, etc.


• Working knowledge of general safety practices


• Must be able to work nights , weekends , and holidays as event schedule requires


• Ability to execute and meet deadlines as well as function in a timely manner


• Ability to work as a team and accurately follow instructions


• Ability to complete tasks with great attention to detail


• Ability to lift 30 lbs unassisted


• Ability to lift up to 75 lbs with a team member


• Ability to work indoors and outdoors


• Ability to delegate tasks amongst team members and provide clear direction


• Ability to communicate effectively in English


• Excellent time management skills and abi lity to prioritize specific tasks


• Strong organizational skills with ability to multi-task and effectively maneuver between functions .


• Previous work experience in sports and entertainment preferred


• Prior experience leading and mentoring others preferred

Payscale: $24.53

Bonus: This position is not eligible for a bonus under the current bonus plan requirements.
