Zusammenfassung

Hospice of Huntington is seeking a TLC Caregiver to provide in-home, non-medical support to clients. Responsibilities include companionship, light housekeeping, meal planning, errands, and personal care in a compassionate, patient-centered manner.

Caregivers travel to multiple client homes across WV and OH; a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation are required. A nursing assistant certification is preferred, with at least one year of experience.

Qualifikationen

• High School graduate preferred.
• Proof of nursing assistant certification, if applicable.
• Minimum one year experience preferred.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation with smokefree interior.

Aufgaben

• Travel to patient homes as scheduled; WV counties Cabell, Lincoln, Wayne, Mason and OH counties Lawrence, Meigs, Gallia.
• Communicate schedule changes to supervisor and care team.
• Document care activities in the company system.
• Interact with patients with integrity, respect, and clear communication.
• Act in emergency situations as trained; report patient needs to supervisor.
• Carry out duties outlined in each Care Plan.
• Provide companionship: games, reading, TV, crafts.
• Assist with light housekeeping, meals, bathing, grooming, errands, and reminders.
