Job summary

Outdoor Cap Company, Inc. is seeking an experienced Digitizer in Bentonville, AR to convert designs into production-ready stitch files and edit logos for samples and production of custom headwear.

TheDigitizeris responsible for digitizing embroidery logos and editing existing logos for samples and production of Custom headwear.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Utilize embroidery digitizing software to transform design files into production-ready stitch files.
• Collaborate and provide design insights to Sales & Design teams.
• Support Embroidery Production & Sampling teams with stitch file corrections.
• Develop strong working knowledge of Embroidery techniques on different fabric substrates.

Education and Qualifications

• Degree in Graphic Design preferred.
• Knowledge of Wilcom Embroidery Studio or experience with digital creation software including but not limited to Illustrator, Canva, Blender, AutoCAD, Sketchup, Maya.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.

Physical/Mental Requirements

• Color vision (ability to identify and distinguish colors.)
• Must be able to remain in a stationary position (seated) 80% of the day and occasionally reach, bend and move inside the office to access files and product.
• Required to have close visual acuity to perform computer tasks and evaluate sample quality to identify errors.
• This position frequently communicates with internal and external customers; candidates must be able to exchange accurate information in a clear manner.
• Ability to move 10-20 lbs occasionally throughout day.
