A leading company is seeking a Remote Digitization Functional Manager to drive its digital transformation initiatives. This role requires strong strategic planning and execution skills to enhance productivity and reduce costs across various business functions. The ideal candidate will possess a robust understanding of business operations, digital tools, and a vision for operational excellence.
As a Remote Digitization Functional Manager, you will be responsible for leading the strategic planning, execution, and continuous improvement of digital transformation initiatives across business functions. Your primary focus will be to identify manual or inefficient workflows, evaluate digitization opportunities, and implement solutions that enhance productivity, reduce costs, and align with business objectives.
You will collaborate with cross-functional teams such as operations, IT, finance, HR, and external vendorsto manage the implementation of technologies including document management systems, robotic process automation (RPA), low-code platforms, and workflow tools. As a functional leader, youll also ensure end-user adoption, change management, and performance measurement of digitized processes.
This role is ideal for a tech-savvy strategist and project manager with a deep understanding of business operations and a passion for driving operational excellence through digitization.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and manage the digitization roadmap, aligning with enterprise-wide digital transformation goals
Identify and evaluate business processes that can benefit from digitization, automation, or AI/ML technologies
Lead the functional implementation of digitization tools (e.g., document scanning systems, OCR, RPA, e-forms, workflow automation)
Collaborate with IT to ensure proper system integration, data security, and infrastructure support
Act as a liaison between business units and technical teams, translating functional needs into technical requirements
Oversee end-to-end project lifecycles, including planning, testing, training, and deployment
Conduct impact assessments, manage stakeholder communication, and ensure change management best practices
Monitor performance metrics, adoption rates, and ROI of digitized processes
Stay current on digitization trends, technologies, and compliance requirements relevant to the industry
Develop SOPs, user manuals, and training materials to support new digital workflows
Required Qualifications:
Bachelors degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, Operations Management, or a related field
2 years of experience in digital transformation, business process management, or operations leadership
Proven experience leading digitization or process automation initiatives in medium to large-scale organizations
Familiarity with tools and platforms such as Microsoft Power Platform, UiPath, DocuWare, Kofax, SharePoint, or ServiceNow
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a process improvement mindset (Lean/Six Sigma experience preferred)
Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills in a remote work setting
Ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
