Job summary

Akumin Inc. is seeking an X-Ray Technologist in Winter Haven, Florida, responsible for producing high-quality diagnostic x-ray images while ensuring patient safety and compliance with regulations. This role involves effective communication with radiologists and the potential to train new technologists.

The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma or equivalent, ARRT certification, and customer service skills. This is a full-time position with a $2,500 sign-on bonus.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent experience required; Associate's Degree preferred.
• ARRT (R) and state license required where applicable.
• CPR certification required.
• One year of radiography or digital x-ray experience preferred for mobile setting.

Responsibilities

• Produce high quality diagnostic x-ray images following safety regulations.
• Ensure effective communication with customers and radiologists.
• Train new Radiologic Technologists and/or Patient Coordinators as applicable.
• Troubleshoot the X-ray unit and peripheral equipment.
