Job description

Our health and wellness eCommerce client is seeking a Freelance Digital/Web Designer to join their eCommerce team.

This is a fully remote opportunity, about 20hrs/week through end of year with strong potential to extend and expand in hours (up to 40hr/week) based on both business need and performance.

Digital/Web Designer Responsibilities:
- Work on the day-to-day digital design needs for the eCommerce team across two main eCommerce websites
- Follow direction from the director of ecomm to update design assets for the website as needed (this can include resizing, editing or designing new based on guidelines)
- Create designs using Figma to then pass off to the website ops team
- Ideally have knowledge of Salesforce commerce cloud and page builder and/or willingness to learn these tools
- Assist with some digital production design, reformatting and resizing digital assets as needed for web (keeping in mind responsive design best practices)

Requirements:
- 4+ years of Web Design and Digital Production Design experience and very comfortable designing assets for the ecommerce website as requested
- Proficiency with the Creative Suite and Figma
- Ideally have knowledge of Salesforce commerce cloud and page builder and/or willingness to learn these tools
- Ability to follow design systems and pattern libraries within Figma
- Ability to take projects and run with them, strong work ethic, proactive and resourceful
- Strong attention to detail, with excellent typography and layout
- Experience designing for responsive, mobile-first websites
- Strong understanding of responsive design
- Ability to follow high level design direction and work within brand guidelines while also bringing some creative ideas to the team
- Any experience with Monday.com is a bonus as this is the teams PM tool
