National Women's Soccer League (NWSL) is seeking a talented Video Editor for the Content team who can craft engaging short-form narratives for social platforms and celebrate women’s soccer. You will edit for YouTube, Instagram, TikTok, X, Facebook, and more, pitching ideas and delivering fast-turnaround content with a strong storytelling voice.

You bring 3+ years editing high-engagement digital video, mastery of Adobe Creative Suite, and a portfolio of work.

• Advanced proficiency in Adobe Suite; light After Effects/motion graphics.
• Strong understanding of social video formats and platform-specific storytelling.
• Rights, licensing, and clearance knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Produce and edit a high volume of sponsored video content weekly.
• Concept, edit, and publish weekly dynamic content for timely moments and league storylines.
• Collaborate with Content team to brainstorm and execute video concepts.

The Role

The NWSL Content team is seeking a talented Video Editor with a keen eye for creative social content and compelling storytelling. This role requires a strong passion for women's soccer, hands-on experience pitching and producing social video content, and a proven ability to craft engaging short-form narratives in a fast-paced environment.

Working closely with the broader Marketing team, you will help celebrate and elevate the most impactful stories across the League, Clubs, and Players-both on and off the pitch.

What You Will Own, Drive & Contribute To

• Digital Video Editing: Edit engaging video content for distribution across NWSL digital platforms, including YouTube, Instagram, TikTok, X, Facebook, and NWSLSoccer.com.
• Sponsored Content: Produce and edit a high volume of sponsored video content on weekly deadlines and tight turnarounds.
• Rapid Turnaround Projects: Concept, edit, and publish weekly dynamic video content to capture timely moments and league storylines.
• Collaborative Creation: Partner closely with the Content team to brainstorm, craft, and execute compelling video concepts.
• Asset Management & Archiving: Subclip weekly footage and assist the Content team with organizing and archiving projects and raw video assets.
• Matchday Coverage: Maintain availability for matchnight coverage and real-time content needs throughout the season.

What You Will Bring

Core Qualifications

• Experience: 3+ years of experience producing and editing high-engagement digital video content (soccer experience preferred).
• Technical Mastery: Advanced proficiency in Adobe Suite; Light proficiency in After Effects or motion graphics preferred
• Social Expertise: Strong understanding of social video formats, storytelling techniques, and optimizing for platform-specific best practices.
• Rights & Clearances: General knowledge of music, licensing, and footage clearance processes.
• Agility & Feedback: Comfort receiving and implementing editorial feedback efficiently under tight deadlines.
• Portfolio: A link to a video editing reel or portfolio showcasing relevant work is required.
• Agility & Independence: Thrives operating autonomously in a fast-paced, high-volume environment while maintaining composure and attention to detail.
